(Ma'on-Nirim, Israel)—Conservation work on a 1,500-year-old mosaic floor within the remains of a synagogue discovered in 1957 in the western Negev has restored it to its "spectacular" condition. According to the report, a special ceremony to unveil the floor was held this week by the Israel Antiquities Authority. |
